Eco lodge每間房都有180度私人全境露臺，可以一邊吃早餐一邊看著綠油油的大樹。畫面定鏡拍攝著大樹，陽光灑在葉上顯得金黃；鏡頭一轉，見到遠處的樹枝在搖動，聽到樹葉發出的沙沙聲，有兩三個黑影在樹上移動，仔細看真，原來是一群猴子。

民宿主人說樹林裡住了許多動物，早上牠們會來找食物，當地人都很樂意餵牠們，更特意在樹上建一個木架，放上食物，方便猴子們享用。
The owner of the guesthouse explained to us that lots of animals live in the forest and they will come and look for food in the morning. The locals always feed them and even built a shelf on the tree so as to put food to serve monkeys.

Our breakfast is very nice as well. We got lots of fruits, pancakes with coconut sugar, poach egg, juice and tea. ORGANIC meal! It is very good to have some food porn and selfie. No fancy dressing or seasoning. The taste are really good which we taste the nature. Simple is the best.
忽然傳來一陣嘈吵聲，然後是『嘭』大力關門的聲音，中間夾雜著人聲，聲線很激動。幾秒後有一對男女以德文交談，女的激動得把所有食物都從露臺倒掉到樹林裡，然後尖叫發瘋。民宿職員又來敲門，男的前去應門，以英文大聲表示不會預先支付未來數天的住宿費，網上預訂時已留下信用卡資料，絕對不會走數，但職員堅持必須現在繳付金額，最後又是不歡而散，德籍男女表示會即時離開，只付昨天住宿費，然後又回復平靜。
Then we heard some noise from the neighbour and a very loud door slamming. People were arguing with aggressive tone. Next was some German between a man and a woman. The woman threw all the food from the balcony and screamed so loud. The staff went to them and knocked at the door. The guy answered the door and spoke in English saying they will not pay the rent in advance but the last day when they leave. They booked the room online and have left their credit card details. There is no reason for them to skip the bill. However, the staff insisted to have the rent now which pissed the couple off. The couple said they will leave immediately and pay only the rent for last night. Chaos finished and back in peace.

我們吃完早餐也收捨行李，準備前往火車站到下一站Haputale! 離開前再用心欣賞、觀察這間生態屋，雖然未至於十分有機，但比傳統洋房式住宿更貼近大自然。
We also packed our stuff after breakfast to head to our next destination - Haputale. We cherish the view in front of us and take good memory of this eco-tree house. It is not 100% organic, but an alternative to stay away from the modern cottage. It brought us close to the nature.
坐火車只需一小時便到達Haputale，只會逗留兩天，重點參觀Lipton
Seat茶園。Haputale市內沒有特別景點，是一個平平無奇小鎮，人多tuk tuk多塵又多，街道比較污糟，而且近車站附近經常傳來惡臭，若不是打算前往Lipton
Seat或Horton Plain, 絕對可以省略。
Train took one hour to Haputale. We planned to stay for two days and visit Lipton Seat is our main goal. Nothing special in the town of Haputale. Lots of tuk tuk and dusty as in the whole Sri Lanka. The streets are quite nasty and very stinky where the nearby area from the train station. If you do not plan to visit either Lipton Seat or Horton Plain, you could simply skip this place without harm.
在市內轉了一圈，真的沒有甚麼驚喜，無數tuk tuk司機撘訕看要不要包車，最後選定一位風趣的叔叔，明早7:30起程！天氣開始天陰，趕在下雨前回民宿，民宿主人說山區天氣不穩，時晴時雨，嚴重的話會停電。我們待在屋裡跟民宿主人聊天，他為我們煮了一壺加了cadarmon的紅茶，味道正宗和芳香十足，令Moritz十分回味。品嚐著紅茶，他為我們娓娓道來自己的故事、斯里蘭卡和中德兩國的歷史，更告訴我們20年前Haputale只有他們一家人辦民宿，可說是首間最具歷史的民宿。他在櫃裡掏出數本A4
大小的筆記簿，封面變得模糊，看不清圖案，打開筆記簿看到2001、1999、1998等年份和多種筆跡的英文字，內頁也鬆脫出來，見証著歷史痕跡，這些就是歷年來賓客的留言冊，他經常與其他賓客分享這份喜悅。

Then we chose one seems to be full of humor and will see him again tomorrow at 7:30am. The weather was not nice to continue explore the town, we decided to head back to the guesthouse before the storm come. The owner of the guesthouse told us we are in the mountain area which the weather usually unstable. We will encounter sunny and rainy on the same day. The worse will be power outage. The owner made us a pot of tea while we were having a chat. It is the black tea with cadarmon which gave a lovely aroma. Moritz really likes it. We had the tea and the owner told us the story of himself, the history between China and with Germany. He really enjoyed the sharing. 20 years ago, his guesthouse was the one and only one in Haputale. To proof it, he took out some A4 size notebooks from the shelf. The cover were all faded and a bit incomplete. You can only tell they are very old. When we flipped the pages, we saw 2001, 1999, 1998 and different handwriting in English. The pages came off the book and they are the memory of this guesthouse. All the guests are so glad to be served by this old guy.

晚上，雨仍下著，沒有減弱。先回房間洗澡，等天氣好一點再到餐廳吃晚餐。當我在洗頭時，突然一
! 片！漆 ! 黑！，這個時候來停電？！熱水迅速變成冰水，灑在我身上，凍得我大聲尖叫，伸手不見五指令我很不安，急急要Moritz來安撫我，立即穿上衣服，避免冷倒生病。平時凌晨在家關上燈，有外面街燈的光射進屋，所以談不上漆黑一片，但在山區，街燈熄滅，屋內一點光都沒有，只能摸黑找手機，但只有9%
電力，如果使用手機電筒，應該可以撐5 分鐘，然後又回歸漆黑。
The rain didn't stop through out the night. We decided to take a shower and see if we could grab dinner somewhere later and hope the weather could be a bit better. When I was washing my hair, everything turned totally black. OMG... it is not a good time to have the power outage. Next was the heater stopped running. There were no more hot water but freezing cold water on my body. It was too cold and I felt so insecure not to see anything. I needed Moritz to safe me and got some clothes on before I get sick. When the lights are off at home in midnight, i can still see and find my way in the house because of the street light. However, it was not the case in the mountain because the street lights were off and i can't find a single drop of light in the room. I tried to find my mobile phone and sadly it had only charged 9%. If I use the torch app on the phone, i guess it could last for 5 minutes before I returned back to the darkness.
決定看民宿主人會否有電筒借用，門打開，他提著一盞露營燈，對我們再次到訪感到愕然，向他說明來意，他立刻借我們另一盞露營燈。有了露營燈，我們又回到光明的世界，在房內活動自如。在露臺看看閃電，試著用手機拍出呃like的神之照片，想捕捉閃電光那一霎，看準時間，按著連環快拍按鈕，15分鐘過後查看，手機相簿有過百個全黑的正方形…...結論：失！敗！
Luckily, we could ask the owner for some torches. When he opened the door, we saw him with his camping light already and felt a bit surprised to see us again. He was very kind to lend us a camping light. We were so happy to have the light bring us back to the world and freely walking around in the room. I had my phone ready and tried to take some pictures of the lightening. Stood in the balcony and pressed the shutter whenever it came. 15 minutes later... my phone album is full of purly dark images.... FAIL!!
又一次，房間又變得漆黑一片，露營燈熄了…...
Not in a long time after we have the light on, it was off and we returned back to the darkness... sigh...
