I was busy running around the town in March because Moritz had arrived Hong Kong and we were busying in looking for a flat. In the first few weeks, we went to different districts for various apartments and comparing which is the best among all. Hong Kong, a tiny place with high population density and small but high price apartment. It is a well-known and irrevocable fact among the world. The situation is totally different than that in Germany.
Moritz’s first priority to choose a flat is neither the bedroom nor the kitchen is small because these are the area we use most. They should be comfortable to rest and spacious enough to make a good meal. After a screen out, we were in a dilemma between Apartment A with higher rent but nice renovation, brand new kitchen with modern oven and Apartment B with lower rent but no renovation at all or electronic appliances, however spacious enough. To make a decision is not easy, but Hongkongers always put benefit in the first place. To pay HKD1500 more a month which allowed you to have a big feast each month or made you a trip to Taiwan/ Thailand. It is more wise to choose the cheaper one.
