今天不用早起，可以自然醒，終於有度假旅行的感覺，之前幾天或多或小都有點壓力。
No reason to wake up early after conference. I can lay on bed as long as I want and I finally felt the holiday mood. It is true that I was stressed in the last few days.
到了杜拜Miracle Garden, 這裡號稱全球最大的大自然花園，室外放滿以花草造型的圖案，色彩繽紛，真的很美。在這沙漠地區要維持所有花草樹木在烈日下也常綠所需的水應該以噸計吧！
Our first destination is Dubai Miracle Garden which is the largest nature flower garden in the world. It is filled with flowers and plants in the outdoor area. They formed in different patterns and shapes which are not only colourful but full of joy. It is hard to imagine how many water is needed to maintain the good condition of the flowers in a desert with bright sunshine of the day.
Elina這次跟她先生一起來杜拜，她先生很怕羞，不太說英文，所以沒有太多交談。但看得出他很愛Elina, 事事都千就她，沒有甚麼所謂，不太計較。
Husband of Elina came to Dubai as well. He is shy and doesn’t speak too many English. As a result, I didn’t have much communication with him. However, based on my observation, he loves Elina very very much because he took good care of her, listened and respect her decision.
烈日下遊花園的確挑戰人體極限，雖然我仍想多拍幾張照，但其實都走得七七八八，隨行的同事亦有倦意，所以決定告一段落，去吃午餐。
To walk under the sun and enjoy the wonderful view at the same time was hard to accomplish at that point. Although I would love to take more pictures, it was almost time to go for lunch and we were tired. That’s why we decided to move back to the town for food.
Miracle Garden位置比較偏遠，坐的士離開返回市區，由偏僻荒蕪的沙漠前往繁華的城市，公路上由了無人煙突然出現高樓大廈，回到文明。
Miracle Garden is located in a remote location. When we were heading back to the town from the suburb with only dust and mud on the road, suddenly we see building appeared the end of the road. It told us that, we were back in civilization.
到了阿聯酋購物中心的南非餐廳Tribe吃午餐，論環境﹑食物賣相及味道﹑服務，這裡都給滿分。
We chose to have lunch in a South Africa restaurant Tribe in the Mall of Emirates. The restaurant do not only serve great food with mouth-watering presentation, but also provided friendly service and a comfortable environment.
剛好遇上有客人生日，一般餐廳的做法就是把客人已準備好的蛋糕送上，最多再加一句「生日快樂」，然後讓客人自便。但這裡的做法令我大開眼界，充分體現出非洲人的好客和熱情，同時深深感受到他們喜愛舞動的民族性。餐廳職員走來走去，手裡握著不同的樂器，有搖鼓有沙槌，還有一個大鼓，他們更換上特別服飾，原來他們特地為客人表演，載歌載舞，慶祝生日。
It happened to be a birthday of one of the customers. Normally, it is already very considerate for the restaurants to serve the birthday cake which prepared by the customers themselves. If it is necessary, they will say “Happy birthday” and let you enjoy your time. However, the way this restaurant do really amazed me and I experience the hospitality and friendly of African. At the same time, I totally felt their inborn genes to dance. They born to be such a passionate nation. The staff walked around in the restaurant and with different musical instruments on their hands like rattles, sand hammers and also moved out a big drum. They had their working uniform off and with a special costume on. Then they started to perform for the customer to celebrate and gave the birthday blessing. It is a nice bit of their day to slow down and enjoy themselves aside from work.
飯後兩位同事先行離去，因為她們坐晚上的飛機先行回國。而我和另一位繼續到其他地方遊覽，想起Elina說杜拜正舉辦3D藝術展，所以決定前往。來到Marina Mall, 在商場走來走去都看不到指示，向職員查詢又表示不知道，真的十分失望。但讓我們找到水上的士的碼頭，錯有錯著便跳上的士遊覽Marina一圈。
Two colleagues left us to the airport. Another one and I continued to explore the city. I suggested to check out the 3D art exhibition which Elina mentioned to me earlier. We arrived at Marina Mall, however, we have no clues where it was and the customer services did not know anything neither. We were disappointed but life must go on. We did the water taxi as an alternative which the stop is just right next to Marina Mall. It brought us to have a short-but-nice tour in the inner bay.
Marina像香港黃金海岸，都是外國人出沒的地方，放滿遊艇和高級食肆，很有異國風情。
Marina is like Gold Coast, Hong Kong which you found a lot of western expats and also the yacht club. The expats eat and drink alfresco of an elegant restaurant. The whole area is so not Dubai.
晚上看電視新聞，有關3D藝術展的報道，原來正確地點是在JBR,和Marina只有數分鐘路程。同事原本聽到｢藝術｣兩個字，滿以為是乏味的油畫，單向的展品，但看到電視片段，大感興趣，大嘆今天沒有去真的錯過了。
At night, we came across the 3D art exhibition via the news. The exact location is at JBR which is a few minute walk from Marina. Originally when my colleague heard of “Art”, all the boring paintings and silent art pieces were in her mind. However, when she watched the news knowing what was that, it interested her and felt bad we missed it.
